Pumpkinfest Friday Night Lights: THE PUMPKIN BOWL ?
History will be made under the lights in Port Elgin!
Join us on Friday, October 2, 2026 for the inaugural Pumpkin Bowl, presented as part of Pumpkinfest Friday Night Lights.
For the first time in Pumpkinfest history, high school football will be played under the lights as KDSS and SDSS face off in a rivalry game unlike anything our region has seen before.
Expect a full Friday Night Lights experience featuring dramatic team entrances, live entertainment, a halftime show, the Great Pumpkin MVP, and the presentation of the first-ever Pumpkin Bowl Trophy.
Following the game, stick around for a new tradition as the winning team celebrates with the inaugural Pumpkin Smash before the festivities continue at the Pumpkinfest midway just a short walk away.
