Pumpkinfest 2008

On October 4th and 5th 2008, Pumpkins, Cars, and Family Fun will arrive in Saugeen Shores for Port Elgin Pumpkinfest. 

Visit our Bruce Power Weigh Off tent and witness history in the making as growers from all over North America vie for a chance to have their vegetable deemed the biggest in the World.

Car Show

If its cars you want then take a “Walk Down Memory Lane” at our Cinderella’s Carriage Antique and Classic Car Show. This outdoor car show fills the streets of Port Elgin in one of Ontario’s largest two day  shows.

Along with giant vegetables and cars Port Elgin Pumpkinfest has more than 45 events and attractions to give the whole family lasting memories. You can build a scarecrow, play in the Giant Tiger Kiddie Karnival, visit the Artist Village and Craft Show and the CIBC Commercial Tent, enter the Port Elgin Veterinary Clinic pet show or the Reid’s Heritage Homes Baking Contest, challenge your family at the Military Obstacle Course, show your singing talent at the Bruce Telecom Harvest Star Search and much much more!
